Before Cylk, the founder spent years in law enforcement investigating serious and complex crime, including the cyber crime that damages businesses. The founder then served as a Chief Information Security Officer, building and running security programmes for organisations that could not afford to get it wrong.
Having investigated the crime and having built the defence, Cylk looks at an organisation differently. Controls are chosen for what is actually being targeted and why, then delivered in a way the business can sustain.
Most providers hand over a report. Cylk designs, implements, manages and audits the system, so the certificate reflects how the organisation operates.
Certificates are issued by a partner certification body. Cylk audits internally and prepares you, and the certification body provides the independent verdict.
Priorities come from how attacks actually unfold, informed by cyber crime investigation experience and by running security inside a business.
